Calerin Forge's online Blacksmith Shop offers a variety of traditionally forged products, as well as custom services, and commissioned ornamental or decorative work. We are excited to offer our custom made tomahawks such as the one we forged for the show Hillbilly Blood.

Introduction to Knife Making

This class will introduce students to the basic skill set necessary to successful forge work. The class is project driven and fast-paced. Participants will leave with a hands on knowledge of basic forge craft including heat treating and tempering of carbon steels.

Authentic reproduction of Viking battle axe. Hand-forged with a high-carbon steel cutting edge and hand-made ash handle. Completely heat treated and ready for your next Viking raid. Viking round shield made from 1/2" oak plywood with hand-forged and riveted iron rim and central boss, with historically accurate Norse ornaments. Forged iron central hand grip on back. 

Axe blade is 9" long on a 30" handle. Shield is 30" in diameter.
