Field Trip to Cornerstone

David and Cecelia spent a delightful day guiding Cornerstone Academy students through history by presenting each group of classes with artifacts and blacksmithing techniques used in the period of history they were studying. From the Biblical period and Ancient Greece and Rome through the Middle Ages to the Civil War and today, a blacksmith’s influence on daily life brought history alive. Personal interaction with our students and rich stories left them asking, “Will you be back next year?” We all agree the answer is a resounding, “YES!” Thank you! The shared memories from the beginning of the day will make us smile for years to come!
